BACKTAGGING: Yes, forever! I can at times become a turtle when work stresses me out, but will backtag forever.
SHIPPING/SMUT: Potentially - needs to have prior CR and/or plotting since he has a canon love interest.
FIGHTING/INJURY: Open to this, definitely. He's trained as a warrior for his father's army and Ragnarok, so he's here for a good fight.
KILLING: Maybe, definitely needs to be plotted out, because he's technically a god so he's extremely hard to kill.
LOOKING FOR: Hodr is a character from a in progress book series, which means a lot of RP is to help flush him out by rolling him into different things. I'm here for other pantheons, other Norse gods, even if they have a different relationship to him than in his actual canon, multiverse au shenanigans are what we are completely here for. For the most part he's going to be either son of Odin, may or may not be having a relationship with someone can be before he met her some, or after his punishment when he's grumpy, hardened, and can't see anymore. Shipping wise, it's fun but it's not the complete reason we're here with him. So if things roll that way, I'd rather it happen organically in CR. He's not a god that just hops into bed with a pretty girl because it'll be a fun night, not even before he's in love with his canon love interest.

background
As a son of Odin, you'd think he'd have everything in life.
But things aren't always what they seem, and life isn't all gold and glimmer when you're the spare.
Hodr has always lived in his brother's shadow. Or, maybe he should amend that to brothers' shadows. He grew up the ice to Baldr's sun, the silver to his gold. The spare against the heir. In his younger years, more growing up, teen years, he envied his brother and the attention Odin dotted on Baldr. Always the golden son for both Odin and even their mother Frigg, Hodr got used to being in the shadows, and in time learned to accept and find himself and who he is in those shadows.
He's not like all his other brothers, well he's not like most of his other brothers. He's quiet and broody like Vidar, but unlike all of them, while he's good at weapons and fighting, he feels more comfortable using magic. It's something his brothers have teased him about a little, because they don't feel that it's worth knowing over the use of a sword and it's gotten a little grumbles from Odin because his magic stems a little more from the Jotnar side of his lineage than his Aesir side.
Also unlike a lot of his brothers, he doesn't tend to just sleep around for fun. It's lead to some in Asgard questioning if he's even into women at all or what is preference actually is. Though once Odin brought Loki's daughter to Asgard, his attention fell solidly on the Jotnar Princess. He saw her for who she was and enjoyed that streak of mischief that ran through her because it echoed one of his own, but was also happy to help put her through the paces in her Valkyrie training. He ended up taking the, I like you so I'm going to annoy you and get under your skin approach with her. It earned her calling him aggravating, and him earning a cute wrinkle of her nose and the two grew closer and started a relationship.
However, Odin and his brothers were unhappy with his relationship, so after she slipped to Jotunheim, they made it their mission to put a wedge between the two. A couple years later, while on a mission to Alfheim, they ended up finding their way back to each other and rekindling their relationship. He returned to Asgard after the mission, but slipped out to Jotunheim to be with her shortly after that. The two married, and fought against Odin and Asgard, going so far as to thwart Odin's attempts to capture three girls that had the sight. Though in the end, Odin was able to capture not just Hodr and his wife, but the girls as well.
Hodr's punishment for his 'crime' was blinding because his eyes were always giving him away and it infuriated his father. That and sentencing his wife to eternal exile in Niflheim, separating them for what Odin thought would be eternally.
